Accommodation
Ngala Private Game Reserve is host to an exclusive Game Lodge, a luxurious Tented Safari Camp and a Wilderness Walking Safari Camp, all offering world-class sophistication and style in the African bush.

Ngala Game Lodge: Comprising 20 thatched chalets with en suite bathrooms and private verandas and the luxurious Safari Suite overlooking the Mapone riverbed, Ngala Game Lodge exudes a romantic colonial ambience. The large sparkling swimming pool overlooks a natural riverine system.

Ngala Tented Safari Camp: Set on the banks of the great seasonal Timbavati River, six luxurious tented suites feature en suite bathrooms with spacious baths and outdoor showers. A lap pool merges with the contours of the riverbank – great for laid-back game viewing.

Set on the banks of the great seasonal Timbavati River, Ngala Tented Safari Camp was built with a light footprint to minimise impact on the environment. Guest areas feature retro pieces from the 50s, 60s and 70s and beautiful timber decks, which overlook the seasonal riverbed.

Dining
The main thatched dining, bar and sitting areas are open to the African bushveld, and the large swimming pool looks out over a busy waterhole where elephants are frequently sighted. Delicious Pan-African cuisine is served in the candle- and lantern-lit courtyard or in the dramatic boma (outdoor dining area). Exceptional bush banqueting is enjoyed in spectacular settings in the African wilderness.

Activities / Facilities
Ngala’s unforgettable wildlife safaris: Enjoy exciting twice-daily game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles led by expert rangers and Shangaan trackers or guided, interpretive wilderness walks.

Ngala Walking Safaris offer a 4 day, 3 night adventure in the Kruger National Park wilderness. Fully serviced, the emphasis is on guest safety and comfort, and an exceptional interpretive experience. Attention is paid to micro eco-systems on the 5 hour morning and one hour evening walks followed by an exciting night game drive.
