The Chapmans Peak Hotel is nestled in the historic fishing
village of Hout Bay. The restaurant is at the foot of the famous
Chapmans Peak Drive leading out of Hout Bay to the view point on
Chapmans Peak. The 19th Century building creates a special
atmosphere and is filled with memorabilia from yester year. The
Nobrega family established this fine seafood restaurant over 25
years ago. The sun drenched terrace, ideal for those hot summer
days and lingering sunsets, has spectacular view of the beach,
Atlantic ocean and harbour activities in the background.

Drop in for a drink; wine aplenty, local and imported beers on tap
and all the variety of drinks you can imagine are on offer to
seduce your taste buds or book a table for a delicious meal. The
restaurant inside will take you back to an era nearly forgotten,
with its wood finishes and pictures from the past. Take a stroll
into the wine cellar and choose your favourite bottle of vintage
red wine or peruse the extensive wine list to accompany your meal.
The menu offers a variety of seafood items from West Coast Lobster
(crayfish), Prawns and Fresh Fish or combinations thereof. The
house specialty being succulent Calamari, served in the pan,
renowned for being the most tender and tastiest Calamari in the
Cape.

Seafood might be the specialty of the restaurant, but grilled
steaks and succulent salads are also on offer. The restaurant also
has vegetarian options available. Cherished by locals and loved by
tourists, Carlos Nobrega and his family - the proprietors - invite
you and your friends with open arms to join them for something

A function room is available which can seat 60 people. We can
tailor a set menu to meet your requirements. A dancefloor and bar

From Muizenberg follow Ou Kaapse Weg over the Silvermine mountain.
At the bottom turn right into Noordhoek and continue along the
road to the end until you reach the beginning of Chapmans Peak
Drive(this road is temporarily closed). Follow through to
Hout Bay. You'll find The Chapman's Peak Hotel at the bottom of
the drive as you enter Hout Bay. From Sea Point follow Victoria
Ave through Camps Bay, Llandudno & into Hout Bay. Turn left into
Victoria Rd & then right into Main. Chapmans Peak Hotel will be on
your left.
