A glass shop front invites guests into the subtle neon blue
atmosphere of this very warm and trendy Japanese restaurant
situated on Main Road, Greenpoint. |
Amidst the fresh flowers, marble counters and fish tanks, patrons
can enjoy substantial cooked Japanese inspired originals like
yakitori kebabs, deep fried tempura, soup style noodles and an a
la carte Teppanyaki menu which includes Beef Fillet, Tuna Steak
and Seafood platter to name but a few. |
On the sushi side, the neat, artfully and perfectly presented
Maki, Nigiri, Sashimi and Fashion sandwiches are all prepared by
authentic Asian Chefs. In fact, on his recent trip to South
Africa, world-renowned chef, Nobu Matsuhisa, rated Benkei Cape
Town as one of the top Japanese restaurants in town. Benkei is
well supported and very popular amongst lovers of Japanese
cuisine.
A sushi “All your can eat” special runs every Friday night from
18:00 at R135.00 per person. |

This
restaurant can most easily be reached by following the Main Road.
From Muizenburg, take the M3 to Cape Town via Eastern Boulevard.
Take the Strand Street offramp, follow the road to robots where it
becomes Somerset Road, the main road that runs through Green
Point. You'll find us on the left hand side of the road opposite
the Green Point track.
